What is the Deliverable?
The IDR assessment report is the initial deliverable of our IDR service. The output is a comprehensive report which will address all recommendations and enhancements to your existing DR plan or deliver the foundation to develop a new plan. The report will include (amongst others) the following elements: • Are RTO and RPO objectives clearly defined for all applications? • How is the incident communication organised? • When/How a disaster is declared, and who should make the decision to invoke DR? • What steps are required to develop the DR team? What are the benefits? • Mitigation of potential risks in disaster occurances and losses of critical business data. • Compliance with legal/regulatory requirements are ensured. • Reassurance that your existing DR processes and Procedures will function as expected. • Recommendations for enhancements to your Disaster Recovery Plan. • Effective human resources planning e.g. which skill will be required and for how long.
